At a very young age, Melinda faced the responsibility of raising a child she knew nothing about.
She search around for the father of her adopted child without having any idea about his name or anything about him.
She couldn't find him and she lost the mother in the shipwreck that changed the bearing if her whole her life.
She raised the child and and started working in a TV station. Melinda was loved by all for her hard working skills. She and her adopted daughter lived their life quietly until Roberto came around threatening her with the incident of the shipwreck which could put a dent in her life and career but unkownly, he only wanted to get her attention which he got in the long run...
Melinda gave up the hope of finding her daughter's father and everything was normal until Felix showed up in her life and the folded past started unveiling which really brought confusion to mother and child and betrayal sets in.
