Hi! I'm Toria and this is my novel, Demolished.
This is the story of the future of the United states, following two characters, Kael (Kah-el) and Tella as they fight to restore living order to America after an agency only known as the Siosas place a nuclear bomb in the U.S, destroying almost all of the American population- except for those that were in their control.  
Follow along with Kael and Tella as they get used as lab rats to test new psychological advancements made by the Siosas, how they explore the strange new parts of their life as a result of the tests- and how they find each other in the midst of chaos.

Anyone that chooses not to follow the rules can drop out and become what's known as an Outcast, but then you risk being imprisoned. While America seems to be running perfectly under these laws, a rebellion is stirring among the professionals. With secrets and lies in government and families alike to change the future of America forever, Cassidy finds herself caught up in the middle of the all out war that is about to break out. What she thought she knew about her world is about to change forever, bringing everyone she knows down with her. DISCLAIMER 2016/2017: This book is a few years old at this point, and due to the political uproar in American in 2016 I feel the need to make this abundantly clear. Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America. See them as purely fictitious - that's what they are, after all.

The son of a company director is lost somewhere in the wilderness of post-debt-restructuring America, and hasn't been seen for three days. The company wants Ellie to go and find the kid, and Ellie doesn't know if she can. The one rule she's stuck to all her working life is to never to go to America, but now she might have to. She will have to, if she wants to save the daughter she hasn't seen in years. Evita isn't ready to leave.

Whether it be anger, love, fear, hatred, hope. Whatever it is, it's there. The question is, can the right people get their happily ever after? Or will the wrong people win after all? (The actual book is better once you get a few chapters in. Trust me. And it's not as cheesy as it sounds once you get past the 2nd chapter, not including the prologue. And this is nothing like those POV videos on tiktok and youtube that have the exact same story every time. Trust me. This is different) Also, at some point, I plan to rewrite each chapter. It'll have the same information, just with different wording and more detail. Basically, it's for the word count and because I actually wrote the book when I was really young before actually uploading it a little bit ago.

The city was like a fortress, no one could enter and no one could leave...except the people executed who defied the government rules. But who thought that...together they might witness the end of their world?
