A girl is living the normal high school life when she realizes there is something strange going on and no one is aware of it except her. P.S I wrote this a long time ago, and now I'm finally publishing it! Also some of my first stories so don't judge.

How trust could truly blind you.

A family is going on their first vacation. Emily and my brother tom went exploring. One day, they found a cave with weird engravings on it. They went inside they got to the other side of the cave. Little did they know that once they go through, there was no coming back out. It didn't take long for me to discover that my life was going to change. I wish I didn't go on that stupid vacation. If I had stayed at home, everything would have been better.

An orphans dreams aren't just dreams. They're real. Nightmares and all. WARNING: Content is intense please be prepared for the unexpected.

I was waiting for my dad when my life changed. Not in any way like a fairy tale with magic wands or going through a rabbit hole like kids in the books do. More like I found it and wished my father came back to clean up his own problem instead of risking my life for this. I can only hope that I will make it out alive.

Mum wanted me to do one thing; do what makes me happy on a long run. Yet I failed to see that until I thought I had nothing left. My past made me too blind to see what I did have, a family, a happy home.

It isn't the bad things you intended to do that come back to haunt you. It's the ones you never meant to happen, that you can't bear to take responsibility for, that fester and grow over the decades. When you know you have nothing to lose, mistakes are inevitable. I've completed this story, but couldn't get any views on here, so I've tried Amazon's KDP Select instead.
