Having won the first game of gods, Ergen has now been transported to yet another world in order to participate in the next round. Though, the game is different this time, and Ergen soon finds himself battling alongside a young goddess of darkness as both of them aim for victory and the rewards that come with it. However, more than a just a simple game may be stirring in Deus as monsters begin acting strangely and shadowy figures plot behind the scenes. Will Ergen and his new partner Echo be able to focus on the game without worry, or will the rouge gods, fearsome opponents and the mysterious mastermind of the games have different plans for them?
