Two girls who grew up beside each other, spent every waking moment glued to each other's side the same way every small-town friendship panned out. Before the two realize, they're in senior year of high school and so close to graduating they could have taken a diploma a ran, no ceremony involved. The two eventually drive off to Chicago as Judy prepares to savour the week ahead of her, the last week before leaving her best friend in her dorm and returning to Wisconsin on her own. Together, they spent seven days in perfection when suddenly it was time to split ways. Judy knows leaving will be painful but after a turn of events the departure becomes more than just leaving her best friend, but something more.

And now, at the age of twenty, when her academy education had ended and all her classmates had gained apprenticeships with ballet companies, Trixie was left with no job and nowhere to train. And so she went to the one person who could make her into a ballerina; Katya Zamolodchikova
