The story about a girl who discovers that destiny does not define you, freedom will destroy you, and that finding your own fate is harder than running away. In 3000 years, the world operates and revolves around your name. The meaning behind it is decided by genetic testing of fetuses in the womb, where medical intel can determine what the child's propensities will be, what the child will be best at, what the child will be bad at, and what they will look like. This determination leads parents into deciding the name, and once the child is born, the parents will guide and mold the child into what they need to become. Adena, daughter of the army's captain and niece of the King, born to be beautiful and feminine, decides to fight the path her parents have created for her, and flees to the Nameless, a feared and unknown territory where names do not matter. Her journey brings her heartbreak, love, and freedom. But most of all, it brings her to her true self.
