It's been a few weeks now. Remus hears them every fucking night, and he can't stand it anymore. Well he doesn't hear them usually because of the silencing spell, but he knows they're here, every night, fucking in his dorm. He knows it because he smells them. He smells sweat and sex, and that's the worst thing ever. He hears her walk in every night around eleven thirty, go to his bed, and cast the silencing spell. They could have a bit of modesty and do it somewhere else, where there's not other people sleeping for god's sake. At first he was surprised when they started dating. He was friends with Mary long before Sirius even knew her name, so he'd thought she'd have told him. But he'd started realize there wasn't much between them, except for their night meetings. A group of first year had surprised them in an embarrassing situation and decided to tell the whole Gryffindor common room that Sirius Black had a girlfriend. They didn't want to tell the truth, that they were only "fuck-buddies", so they played along with it. Or how Sirius and Remus got together in 5th year, after a series of unexpected events. I don't usually go against canon. However, the idea of Lupin surviving, even with his spirit appearing to Harry, fits perfectly with the concept of a coma and could have happened. We can fit it into canon. I absolutely adore Tonks with all my heart, but I've had a crush on Remus Lupin ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban almost 20 years ago, before seeing the film. Back then, I used to write fanfics (during classes!!! Oops! Even so, I still got good grades! haha) about Remus Lupin and a character entirely inspired by me, called Mary Hallow. In one of those fanfics, set in the Marauders' era and called "Memories of a Marauder Wolf" -which I'm currently trying to rewrite, but it hasn't been easy-I worked through my teenage traumas with the story I wrote. Although nowadays I only read and write 'Remadora' fanfics (Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks), I decided to revisit Mary Hallow to work through my adult traumas (or as I like to say, 'exorcise my demons'). So, even though this Mary Hallow no longer has a certain issue that defined her in my older fanfics, many of the things in the story are-once again-things I personally experienced.
