In a world where everyone fends for themselves and forgets about kindness and compassion, one stands out of them all, Gemma. She has always wanted to care for one as a friend, but her 'friends' always end up using her for stuff she is not committing to do and ends the friendships to stay out of trouble. Although seeming to loose hope, she has never given up to find the one, or more, with the same passion. She goes on far and wide as she turns 13 and still goes with her true desire.
On the same universe and time, a girl named Alex has the same compassion and feeling for others and wants to share it, but never could find her true friend as her 'friends' also use her. Turning 14, however, she stops this dream that seemed like a child's, for people along her journey ruins her dreams and make her lose hope. She is forever broken and sadden for not finding the one.. Until the start of freshmen year in high school.
Alex gets nervous as she walks through the hall, having people stare at her. She gulps in fear as she looks down, bumping into someone. "I-i'm so s-sorry ma'am!" The mystery girl said as she helped pick up her things. "It's alright." Alex explained. "I'm Gemma. Gemma Winstock." Gemma said with a shy smiled. Alex smiled and held out her hand. "Alex Taylor."
This, for the girls wouldn't know till later, was the start of a friendship, and love for another that they wouldn't know yet, over the world.

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain.
