The first four chapters are kind of like a 'prologue', to tell you the situation, and make you familiar with the characters. Since she has no money, she's forced to accept Ben's job offer to join the mafia. Rey quickly learns Ben is not the man she once loved; he was now called Kylo Ren and the monster reigned. No shred of humanity left and thoroughly lost in the darkness. But the habit of the body was nonetheless present, and she swore she would fight it to the heavens.

I normally write about the Captain Swan ship or dabble in a little Harry Potter, I've thought about this before, and now have some inspiration. After watching The Force Awakens, I thought Kylo Ren and Rey would either end up being related or it would be a star-crossed lovers kind of thing. After watching The Last Jedi I can definitely see things going in a romantic direction with them. Let's face it, is it really a relationship if you haven't tried to kill each other at least once? After all, Emma held a knife to Hook's throat and tied him to a tree, and then there was a sword fight and she knocked him out. So here's my first go at a story based on what I recently learned is a ship called Reylo!

It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
