Hanako Mori has never been a gamer, in fact the only reason she got mixed up in Sword Art Online is because of her older brother - Daichi - who was so delighted about this new game that he got her a copy as well. Though that's not exactly all there was to it, what with Daichi being a Beta Tester and all. She had enjoyed listening to his stories.  

 To actually try it out though... now that was a different story. Still with a brother - who looked more like a hopeful puppy - looking at her so excitedly and promising to walk her through everything, how could she refuse?    

Now in Aincrad, 'Hana' and thousands of others are trapped with no hope of escape unless they defeat the Final Boss on 100th Floor. With her brother nowhere - maybe not even in the game - She has little hope. Expecting to wait out the battle until some of the other players beat the game.
