Life is tough. Alix has to choose whether to follow in her parents footsteps and become a spy or live out a normal life with an average career like her 3 old siblings. Ali is sceptical about making big decisions; she likes to do her research. What happens when she finds something she wasn’t looking for? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I could be considered tall but compared to my friends I’m a shortie; therefore I’m about average size. My hair is short; I mean I can’t even tie it up. It reaches to just below my ears id say, it’s a light honey brown colour, a kind of mix of my mum’s golden blond and my dad’s dark hair. I like my hair, it’s easy to handle, and I don’t even have to brush it in the morning if I don’t want to. I have large brown eyes, my nose is average, and the same goes for my ears and lips. My skin colour isn’t too pale or too tan, so I guess you could call that average too. I sound like a fairly average person I guess, but I’m not, there’s still plenty to learn about me. My name is Alixandra Clare and this is my story.

*Insert dramatic music* Two best friends, normal, right? Well, not in this case. Love wasn't a thing in either of their lives. But when each other entered, it...was awkward..? A not so innocent blonde and a very outgoing, annoying brunette. Stuck between, just friends, or each other's love interests. What will they do? Will boys get in the way, or were they always meant for each other... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Avery and I were walking the field, talking to each other, or should I say just her talking and me listening. We walk past this tree, and then she stops. "Wait! Can we sit under this tree? It's kinda hot, and also, I'm getting lazy." I smile at her. "Of course!" I say, going under the tree and sitting down. She walks over as well, I pull my hand out to help her, she takes it and sits next to me. "Wow, such a gentleman," she mocks. I laugh at her joke. I love that she makes me smile.
