Betty and Jughead are both 21 years old, they got engaged almost 2 years ago and have a 3 year old boy, Jayden. Jughead is a writer and also works at a construction site part time. Betty took over the Riverdale Register when her mom retired, it's a way to be home with Jayden when she can't find anyone to watch him. I know it has a lot of parts but they are actual chapters! Our story is about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town. From a distance, it presents its self like so many other small towns all over the world... Safe. Decent. Innocent. Get closer, though, and you start seeing the shadows underneath. The name of our town is Riverdale. And our story begins, I guess, with what the Blossom twins did this summer. On the fourth of July, just after dawn, Jason and Cheryl Blossom drove out to Sweetwater River for an early morning boat ride. The next thing we know happened for sure is that Dilton Doiley, who was leading Riverdale's Boy scout Troop on a bird watching expedition, came upon Cheryl by the river's edge. Riverdale Police dragged Sweetwater River for Jason's body, but never found it. So a week later, the Blossom Family buried a empty casket and Jason's death was ruled an accident, as a story that Cheryl told made the rounds. That Cheryl dropped a glove in the water, and Jason reached down to get it, and accidentally tipped the boat, and panicked, and drowned. As for us, we were still talking about the "July fourth tragedy" on the last day of the summer vacation, when a new mystery rolled into town."Complete

Betty Cooper had one last summer before she left for college. One last summer before Yale, and one last summer stuck in the awful town of Riverdale. She's never had a boyfriend, and according to her best friends, Veronica Lodge, Kevin Keller, and Cheryl Blossom, she's never lived. So, her friends give her a challenge. Make a summer bucket list of everything she wants to do, and after she lives, she can go be a perfect student again at Yale. Seems easy enough. But when old feelings start to get in the way of her plans, will she complete all the items on her list, and finally live? I do not own any of the characters. The characters and the show Riverdale all belong to the CW. The plot, however, is mine. Idk if I'll ever finish this story, since I am super unmotivated and I did plan for it to be pretty long. "What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.Complete

This is a Barchie story will include fictional scenarios after the events that occurred in 5x08. I know the ending of this episode was so disappointing so I am here to try to mend broken hearts like mine. Here is the Barchie storyline that we all deserve. We've patiently waited for far too long and since the writers can't give us the content we barchies deserve, I'll try my best to give it to you all. (book written March 2021-Nov 2021) (p.s: I wrote this story right after the premiere of the 8th episode, so this story is very different from the second half of the season, since at the time I was developing this story, Riverdale was on a three month hiatus and season five did not end until October). •••••••• "Betty. He asked as I stared at him dumbfounded by his question. I did not expect this at all. "Wh-what?" I stuttered staring at him in shock. "Betty. I may not be an FBI agent but I know what PTSD looks like" He pointed and I unconsciously fisted my hands. "don't do that" He begged in a whisper while reaching for my hands to keep me from digging my nails into my skin. Alright so I like Riverdale on a concerning level. Like I am literally in love with the show. And one of the best things in the show is Bughead. Not Barchie or Jeronica or anything, Bughead conquers all. Choni's cool too though. So since I have no inspiration for my other book right now, I've decided to start a oneshots book for my favorite ship on the planet. And I'm taking requests. No smut/lemons though, just fluff (sorry to all the people who were hoping otherwise, but no)Complete
