Since their parents married when she was 12 years old, Nikki Benson harbored a crush on her stepbrother Dion Davis, scion to the Davis music empire. Now 19 and a talented musician in her own right, Nikki is the only one that can save Dion's band Rogue Nation from professional disaster. But in the close confines of the tour bus, will Nikki and Dion live out their rock and roll fantasy? Or will they crash and burn?
That description is still a work in progress.
Heartbreak Beat was previously published under the title "Forbidden Beat" (publisher picked it)under my pen-name Jillian Sterling. The rights reverted back to me. I am doing a revamp of the whole book and turning it into a series. This is the first in the series, which is titled (for now) Rogue Rockstar.
Warnings: there is "off stage" drug use and a drug OD that results in death (also off stage).
I'll be posting a chapter a week, either Sunday nights or Monday mornings. Please share feedback! What's working, what's not... I hope you enjoy it. xoxo
