Upon the death of her former partner, Beatrix Dryt is called by the man she works for, Callenfir, to find a new colleague. Upon meeting this new associate, she is introduced to a relationship she has never truly experienced before. This being friendship. The duo is exposed to things they've never been quite knowledgeable to such a degree in the past. Has their superior dragged them into a few simple tasks? Or is it for something larger? Or possibly an even more dangerous scheme? Read into Beatrix and Emery's quests together to find out, in the wondrous land of Ortheon. From comedic events, to tragic events, to downright action-packed escapade, you'll certainly be pulled into a, rather eventful, read. ---- Author's Note: I've yet to completely edit and clean up these chapters and things. It's edited often, but nothing is changed to the storyline. So, if you've read chapter one and I've edited it, I'm only fixing grammatical mistakes and such. This story contains lots of violence, action, comedy, and all that other stuff. Read at your own risk. If I should rate it R, go on and tell me, but it's more of a PG-13 rating if anything. ...
