Layla and Zara are two moroccan cousins about to go through senior year in two different high schools, two different parts of town and with different people. Layla who grew up in a mixed cultured household is awkward, outspoken about political issues and a compulsive liar who's struggling to keep her walls up against love. Especially when a handsome stranger moves in with her neighbors. Zara who seems like your perfect muslim daughter on the outside is actually the girl version of every bad boys and players that a girl loves combined which is why she's judged and hated by some. She's waiting for the one who will make her feel something other than this constant boredom.

QAIS

"She was his mirage, a dream he could only chase. He was her living hell, a nightmare she could not escape." Layla Mustafa is the only girl in her family allowed to go to university. Belonging to a strict patriarchal background, Layla, the shy and suppressed girl, could only dream of falling in love. That was until she met Zaviyar Malik, the warmest man she had ever met. Layla loved Zaviyar. Zaviyar loved Layla. They were meant for each other. The equation should have been complete. A fated Happily Ever After. But they forgot to consider one factor. One dangerous factor..... 𝘘𝘢𝘪𝘴 𝘒𝘩𝘢𝘯. Qais who was just another name for the devil himself. He spilled blood like water. Killed like it was a hobby. But more than anything... he loved like it was a sin. Madly. Addictively. and Dangerously. One mistake is all it takes for Layla to fall into the hands of the devil. Layla was a lover, not a fighter. And Qais was a killer, not a lover. What happens when the roles are reversed? What happens when fate brings them together?
