On November 2nd, Sara Garter, a thirteen-year-old girl, died under mysterious circumstances in the forest next to her home. There were no traces of a killer, nothing that any man or beast could have done to her. Her father and her sister, Ana, become convinced that there are supernatural forces at work...

On November 3rd, Sara Garter wakes up in a white interrogation room. She can't remember how she got there, or why her body is lying in a crumpled mess next to her. All she knows is that she's alone, and an easy target for the dark shadows nibbling at her feet...

On November 4th, Dylan Ross begins having visions of the girl whose body he discovered in the woods. He ignores her at first-- he's had hallucinations before, and a dead girl can't come back to life. But soon, he realizes that Sara Garter is very much alive... And that even the death of your body does not save your soul-- or the people you love-- from danger...

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
