DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. An angsty, epic, enemies to lovers/ forbidden love story. Dream grew up as a commoner in a foster home for sixteen years. When his birth parents die, Dream's life is turned upside down-he is now King. He is inexperienced and sent to an allied Kingdom to learn how to rule. There, he meets Prince George, an experienced, emotionally closed off, stubborn ruler who wants nothing to do with Dream. As both rulers fall victim to centuries of unchanged laws/stigmas, usurpers, and assassination attempts, they try to find the balance between listening to their duty to their Kingdoms and the duty to their hearts. Their story unravels itself through a series of flashbacks as each memory resurfaces years later in Dream's mind. --Re-written-- When I was 8 we were playing hide and seek in the little park surrounded by bush down the street from my house. It was a large group of us. It was always fun down at the park, since our parents never really came and checked on us. Being twins, Taylor and myself had a bigger amount of freedom then the other kids in our grade, so all the parents trusted at if the Norm Twins were going to be somewhere, their kids would be safe, even though we were young. And that was always true. This particular time at the park we were playing hide and seek. It was one of our favorite games to play. Taylor, Rachel and Connor always had the best hiding spots. I loved counting. The suspense. So I was counting. We counted to 90 so everyone could get the optimal spots in the park. The deal was that we never went too far into the bush. The boulder was our guide. I counted to 90, like normal, and then started looking. There were always specific spots that people hid in, so they were my first points to check. Oddly, no one was in any of them. But to my 8 year old self that made the whole thing better. I started looking hard. But didn't find anyone. I started to call out, starting to get worried. "Another day, another mission done!" You take a brief sigh after finishing your daily missions in Kingdom. You turned off your phone and call it a day. Inside your phone, Gingerbrave, the mascot and the main character of every single Cookie Run game ever since their series debut long ago, has happily announced that their fellow baker is happy of what they have accomplished. "Great work everycookie! Seems our Baker is very happy that he managed to accomplished their daily missions for today!" He said as every single cookie from Ovenbreak, Kingdom, Witch's Castle & even the newly game that just came out, Tower of Adventures happily cheered in happiness. But then one day...something changed. "...I think I'm getting a bit burned out from playing each Cookie Run game..." You said as you rubbed your head, a bit stressed out and tired. "Ovenbreak is becoming pay-to-win recently, Kingdom is releasing too much overkill cookies that everytime I need to save up my crystals and other stuff, Witch's Castle is getting a bit too boring now, and Tower of Adventures is getting a bit laggy and buggy nowadays..." You sighed and not sure what else to do now but then you said... "Mabye...I should quit playing Cookie Run and move on to other games..." Those words struck the cookies behind the screens with sadness and despair. You turned off your phone to take a break, and went to take a bit of a walk. As the cookies were falling down to their knees and having tears on their eyecing on realizing what you said, they can't let you go. They won't let you move on from them. They need you. Until...they realized that their games became their pay-to-win prison this whole time...they all had enough. They want to escape from their game prisons and go to you. Then, they all devised a plan. Those words that you said to them with no awareness of yourself, will change your life forever.
