This is my first kinda successful short story, it's not that good but I may do a second version that is longer and a more improved ending, but for right now this is what I have. It has some romance in it, but I'm a crummy writer when it comes to romance (or any story) so I'm sorry if it isn't that good. But anyway I hope you like it!

The day that it happened it was a bright and sunny day. I had no idea what I was about to be asked. My name is Maddie Higgins, and I'm a maid for the governor of Louisiana. The date is May 15, 1862, in America. Just last year President Abraham Lincoln announced the war against slavery. It's a war within itself, brother and brother are fighting against each other and not having a regret of killing the other. In Louisiana it seems like everyone is for slavery, not even my own family is against slavery. I'm secretly against it. My belief started when I saw a mother being dragged from her newborn. It's just not right to have a mother separated from her baby. This is my account of my part in the war within itself.
In the thrilling third installment of 'Agents of Time', the time travel team is on the hunt for Jack the Ripper - the unidentified serial killer notorious for his murders in Whitechapel in 1888.
