Tikva's home was destroyed by the Nazi army, along with her entire family and every other Jew in her village. Afraid and alone, but driven by a promise she made to her dying mother, Tikva is determined to make it out of Germany alive. Along the way she meets Adrian, the runaway Nazi soldier who pledges to see her safely over the border to France. The trip is long and hard, and survival is not garunteed, but Adrian makes Tikva feel like she has something to live for, and together they find it in themselves to move on from the horrors and regrets of their past. *This is my first piece of writing. I know it won't be perfect but I try not to make it sound ametuer like a lot of books on here. I'm always looking to improve my writing, so any comments and suggestions are always welcome. Also, I am not an expert or at all well-versed in Nazi Germany history, so if anyone notices any inaccuracies, please point it out! I don't know how often I'll update, as of now there is no fixed schedule. I hope you enjoy! All writing is my property, no reproducing without my consent.
