Faith Divided

In the future, real magic is heavily regulated by the Catholic Church and society is ruled by a Catholic hierarchy. The lesser Christian faiths are allowed into the middle class, but the majority of the poor is pagan. Enter Maria Carvo, a devout Catholic nun who takes a wrong turn and ends up in the ghetto surrounded by the people "Cathies" scorned. In her moment of desperation, a hero arrives in the form of a young man who is known as Ergo who saves her from the masses and shows her that all faiths can coexist if only they were understood. Side by side, they strive to change the world while opposed by those in the Heavenly Floating City.
