Who I am

Put yourself in my shoes. Become the daughter of a woman who won't let him be him. Who won't let him be called the way he wants to. Who won't even considerate what he is saying. Someone who won't accept their own child to do as they please. The things they please to do aren't even bad. They aren't harmful. Instead of being harmful they put you at ease and make you feel happy and comfortable. You are never happy with yourself because you are not you. But what can you do to change that? Nothing! Because the mother who claims to always support you no matter what is not supporting you at all. Who am I supposed to be if I can't be me? Somebody who is always mad at themselves and is never happy with themselves? Someone who is controlled by their loved one? I refuse to be that person. I won't let you decide who I am going to be. I am not yours to play with. I am not the sculpture that you can mold however you please. I am supposed to be the one that you care for the most in your life. But yet I can't even be me. You say my whole identity crisis is a phase. But I know it's not! I'm stuck in this hole and the only way to get out is to be myself. The only escape is to become a boy. But my own mother does not support me. I can't do anything. Mother, don't you want to help me?
