Every evening, she is forced to go through an excruciating process as she vanishes, seemingly into thin air, only to reappear the next day in the gardens of the silver-eyed man she knows only as the King. She has no recollection of what happens to her between dusk and noon... Even worse, she doesn't know her name. Or why she keeps disappearing and reappearing.
