Lucy White is a 16 year old girl that lives in Florida. She isn't normal, though. Ever since she was young, she has pretended to be someone she's not. To be deaf and mute. And the only people in her school that know her secret are her twin brother, Alex, and her best friend, Emily.
When Danny, a boy in her class, starts to discover the truth about her, things fall apart and break. Will Lucy be able to avoid detection? Maybe she'll give in, after all, she is, as everyone calls her, 'Broken'.
(This is in the process of editing - it's just by me and I'm not anything professional, and the changes aren't going to be very drastic at all - so stay tuned)
