A transgender woman on the biology, sociology, and history of the gender spectrum. Gender variance is nothing new. Our stories have been told as far back as the 23rd Century BCE. Forget everyone; forget I had met you. But I found myself realizing that it was impossible to do that after meeting you... because you consumed my every thought, I realized that every breath that I take was an action I had to do so that I could be with you and I forgot that I was supposed to pretend to be someone I'm not when I'm with you" --- --- "Before I met you, I was just supposed to worry of the things High School had to offer and then you came into my life and everything became more complex. Before you, I knew I was straight. I was sure I was straight; I had boyfriends, tons of them. And then you march into my life and sweep me off of my feet without even realizing you were doing it. Before you, I thought I knew the meaning of love, I thought I had been in love. Then you showed up, and everything I believed in went plummeting into nothingness. I hated you for confusing me and I love you for clearing it up for me." (Completed) Warning: This book contains graphic language, some violence and honest to goodness smut. While I've got you, and while we're alone ... can I share something with you? You know, man-to-reader? OK, fab. I am slowly becoming a girl. Yeah. Really. See, that girl you heard about just before my boring ass started chundering away about showers and carpets like a dodgy salesman, she's in my head. She has been for a really long time. Maybe soon, I'll go deeper into that. I hope that's put your minds at ease in an odd way - now you'll know why I dream from the perspective of a girl less than half my age. So, show of hands, how many of you have questions? One, two, thr ... yeah, I had a feeling it would be like this. I can't answer them right now, but I promise you will know me soon enough. Besides ... I'm counting on you for something. You, dear invisible reader, are going to play the role of my brain. I'm going to scribble down every thought, event and experience I have. You're going to be the way I no longer have to live life trapped in my own head 24/7. And eventually ... soon, you will be the reason I stop pretending. This is a promise I am making to myself, and you are all going to be witness. 2025 is the year I stop playing pretend.

From the title, you might think I'm transgender, but that's not the case at all. I didn't choose this, nor did I want it. One day, I woke up, and my mind was in a girl's body. To make matters worse, that girl's mind inhabited my body! As much as I hoped it was a dream, I had no such luck. I was stuck as a girl for the rest of my life. But, why? And what do I do now? I don't know anything about being a girl! Can I really live like this?!

This story and it's characters are basically full of my own insecurities and fears, so yeah enjoy. If you start getting anxiety because of it I am so sorry, and know that I am here for you. I understand all the pain of bull crap so many have to deal with, on top of rigorous classes and a mental disorder. Eden is your typical American teenager... Kind of. His family hates him. He hates him. His old friends hate him. His old boyfriend hates him. Basically everyone he's grown up with in his hometown hates his god damn guts. All because he's gay, stupid right? As always, in almost every single story ever, something happens that will change his life forever... Ohohoh so spooky and mysterious and stuff okay bye end of description of story.
