It's been a year since the outbreak happened and by this point everyone is assumed to be dead. Well, at least that's what Madison would tell herself every night before she went to sleep.

The last group of living people she saw was nearly a month ago. The dead were on them and she could only watch as it happen from afar. She always thinks about them, about whether she could have been able to save them.

But deep down she knew.

In reality there was no way to save them; not with that many dead in one area.
