if I write abt my feels... imagine how powerful ur story or characters could b to get readers to feel all that jazz...u got talent.. u got skills... don't b upset by comments that aren't to your liking... u only see the words but not the feels behind it.. we always look for the light at the end of the tunnel.. or a silver lining.. even in a makeshift world... don't be hurt by readers comments.. if u get ur readers worked up, you hav done quite well... so here's a lil heads up... I like n comment on chapters.. it's my form of acknowledgement.. don't feel dejected or pressured but rather inspired to continue enhancing your own skill n talent.. Experiment
Not mature for the younger audiences. -------------------------------- I don't like explaining my books because when I do I tend to write out everything that happens, so I am just going to say that I come up with these horribly dark ideas and put them into books, of course these books may be sad, they may be horrible, and maybe even a bit sadistic, but in my mind they are badass, and I feel as if I should write them out. Of course they don't come out as I want them to but oh well you'll get the idea. I honestly think that they could be better but I had been told by my best friend that they are 'sadistically amazing' and that I should post them once they are finished, so meh. Yes, I know I happen to say this in each of my story descriptions but I truly do end up ruining the story if I write about it and I rather not go and spoil a book when I don't like it being done to me. There will be foul language, sexual content, some gay people, some stupidity, also some possible triggers, and most likely some grammar errors. So I'm just forewarning anyone that reads it. I also try to make each chapter 2000 words or more, I suppose if that isn't enough someone will eventually tell me so here you go. I get all of my pics from Google, so.... Hm hm Yeh. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. Trapped in my Worst Novel
Protagonists, the most important characters in stories. They're the ones that are supposed to save the world and be a symbol of hope for humanity, the ones that can defeat anything in their way if they want to, the ones whom the reader wants to win and succeed... ...Well atleast thats how a good heroic protagonist should be. I wrote three novels after dropping out of college at 20 years old. My first novel was a disaster, boring characters, recycled plot, and a protagonist so rude even I wanted to punch them. The next two? Absolutely amazing and really well-liked. I was ready to quit writing for good when i suddenly got hit by a car and woke up in someone else's body, someone i don't recognize at all, who goes to the exact same school from my first novel. Yeah. That happened, i'm screwed. Great. Now I'm stuck in a world full of arrogant, clueless students. Why couldn't i have entered one of my better stories?! And if that's not enough, the soul of this body won't stop yelling at me to "give their body back", as if i could do that, while a tiny version of them sits on my left shoulder and a tiny version of my 19 year old self from my past life rides the right shoulder. What even is happening anymore? Sigh...
