Axelia Amren's parents have mysteriously gone off the grid when she comes home from the worst day possible of school. Turns out her parents were secret agents working for the CIA. They have been keeping tabs on her for the hopes of her becoming an amazing agent one day. Axelia is asked to become an agent-at the age of 12- and she stubbornly accepts.
With becoming an agent, she has to give up her school life and her best friend, Nash Carson.
5 years later, Zane and Axelia have to go on an unknown mission. She has to go to the high school that all of her "friends" from her middle school years, attend. 'Amelia' is her new name and a certain boy gets close to her, finding out about the girl he has cried for most nights since she disappeared, is back and totally different.
Axelia is not the only one who has changed. Nash has now become a popular jerk.
What happens when she finally finds out the truth about her parents and the reason for this seemingly pointless mission.
