It's the year 2159 and all of humanity has been wiped out by severe pollution and radiation - all except the city of Dinas. Dinas is a city in the clouds - 350 miles up in the clouds, to be exact. It's divided into two parts: Dimora, where the Affluent - rich - live, and Profugo, where the Destitute - poor - live. Jericho was born into the life of an Affluent, but he was sent to Profugo to live as a Destitute when both his parents died. He met Deveraux after a week of living alone and the two of them joined together to survive. Deveraux is a Destitute. His mother died giving birth to him and eight years later his father committed suicide. After a year of being alone, he found Jericho on the streets and joined with him to survive. Xyra is an Affluent. She's always gotten anything she wanted. Anything, except freedom. Now, all of them seventeen year old convicts, get the worst news of their lives: they're to be a part of the Exemption Trials, a week of deadly tests and obstacles designed to see if they are worthy of being let back into society. However, the trials are also designed for them to fail, and only one person has ever made it out alive. With the help of the nine other convicts selected to be in the trials, can Jericho, Deveraux, and Xyra beat the odds and make it to freedom, or will they perish like so many others before them? Anomaly

First book in the subject 001 series Subject 001 was never meant to exist. Born from E.D.E.N.'s most ambitious experiment and abandoned just as quickly, Ellie is the girl whispered about in locked rooms and classified files-the mistake too powerful to control, the anomaly that terrifies even the people who created her. After a lifetime of confinement, Ellie escapes into a world she was taught to fear, only to discover it's nothing like the sterile halls she grew up in. With Ava, Mia, Noah, and Liam-kids just as broken, brilliant, and dangerous as she is-Ellie begins to unravel the truth behind the experiments that stole their childhoods. But E.D.E.N. isn't done with them. Hunted by the Governor and the adults who shaped them, manipulated by shadows wearing familiar faces, and haunted by the dark promise Henry whispers about destroying E.D.E.N. together, Ellie is forced into a deadly game of survival where trust is a luxury and power is a curse. As her abilities grow-and her memories return-Ellie must face the truth buried in her bloodline: She wasn't created to save the world. She was created to end it. And in the fight between what she was made to be and who she chooses to become... only one version of her can survive. ----------------------------------- W A R N I N G T H I S S T O R Y C O N T A I N S : → Mild Violence →explicit language → Mild Child neglect ------------------- H I G H E S T R A N K I N G S : 546 #dystopian 25 #Anomaly (most impressive ranking) 2 #powerfulgirl 6 #undergroundworld 2 #geneticengineering ---------------- S T A R T E D →18/8/25 C O M P L E T E → 10/9/25 WORD COUNT : 22.8k
