"I told you before, my dad left it to me, I swear." I said truthfully. She looked at me for a few seconds, thinking. I couldn't shake the feeling that everything about her was cold. "Well, even if you don't know anything, she'll come for you. And I will have the answers I want." She said with indifference before adding huskily in my ear. "And... I think we can have some fun together while you stay. Don't you agree?" She said as she laughed again and gave me her signature smile. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest.
