Alex Rado and Clover Caufield are polar opposites-Alex is hyper and a bit rambunctious and never thinks twice about what she says or does, while Clover is much more shy and prefers strategy over jumping in and "rolling with it", as Alex would say. Nobody expected the two girls to become as close as they did-but maybe they have more in common than the other squids in Inkopolis thought they did.

This is a sequel to "The Grudge"! It is recommended that you read that story first for added context. It's not just Aloha acting weird anymore, it's everyone. Update: I completely re-wrote chapters 6-7 (yes, how unfortunate) recently by myself. All other chapters have had extra things added overall and small mistakes corrected. There is in fact a third story in the works, partially up if you'd like more! (It's called the "Grudge Disorder". It's a work in progress.) DISCLAIMER: This is a fanfiction of the Splatoon Coro Coro manga by Sankichi Hinodeya. I do not encourage the violent actions in this story. There is swearing, violence, gore, suicide mentions, and minor head canons. This is not a ship story. Some events may be sensitive to some readers. Seriously it gets intense. I've gotten comments calling this a physiological horror. SPOILERS: In case you were curious, the concept of the diseased clones was made before the Shadow Clones were first revealed. While they're there, they discover that the New Squidbeak Splatoon has moved to Splatsville. They're searching for a group of Octolings being held in Alterna. Now, it's up to Spider, Inkura, Bridgett, and Shumi to rescue these Octolings before someone can use their bodies for their own ends! Imagine Inkopolis: This takes place six months after the main third season. Monii and Bridgett have come to Inkopolis for a vacation! While they're there, Marina shows them the Memverse, a virtual reality matrix made by combining the memories of multiple people. Inside is an Inkopolis that combines the present with days gone by. Then things go awry. Will Bridgett, Monii, Marina, and Pearl be able to escape the Dream Box? Side Order: It's been another six months since Imagine Inkopolis. Bridgett, Monii, and Pearl have woken in a completely different Inkopolis. As it turns out, they never left the Memverse, and the Memverse has created a world synthesized from Bridgett's memories. The place has also been taken over by an entity named Order who wants to turn everyone them into mindless programs. Will they be able to escape to the real world? I do not own Splatoon or any of the characters except for Zaki, Keiso, Mikado, Shumi, Hiro, Timo, Monii, and a few minor characters. Cover design is mine. Spider and Inkura belong to Alex Spider.
