Seymour Bask does what he can to find his little brother when storms raged down upon their shore, debris preventing him from reaching the beach from the sea. Their den destroyed and there was no sign of his little brother washed into the water for he would've been found by him already. There's only one place he could've been pushed away. And that was to land.
