Takashi watches the others and tries to understand why they wanted to change Haruhi. He silently watches over the club while somehow getting closer to Haruhi. While he was supposed to be Takashi's apprentice, Takashi cannot help but feel hostile when he sees him with Haruhi even though he treats her with the same respect he does.
