16 year old Indi Watson certainly did not see her life as boring. Sure, she would have her days but otherwise she enjoyed every single minute of it. Sure she has had her run in's with bad people, gangs but it only dawned on her that she is endangering her life by doing what she does when her close friend, Kaylo Anderson gets shot.
Cole Machin wants revenge and he knows exactly how to get it. He knows that he wont be able to get to Kaylo himself, so instead he will get what he holds closest to him: Indi.
Through all the drama kaylo arranges for Indi to stay with an old friend of his who he trusts enough to keep her safe until he recovers.

Much to her dismay, Salvador Patterson just happens to be one of the most dangerous gang leaders in the country. Wonderful.
