After the Femme went undercover as a Decepticon for Team prime, 6 months went past before she was discovered and her Optics were sent to Prime and his team with a note reading, "She had us fooled till her last day, you will see her in the well of all-sparks.". She was announced KIA that day, another soldier lost in the ongoing war against the Decepticons. Or so they thought she was. From that day Lightning Bolt became a legend, a myth. Unfortunately, insubordination does not end well for most Decepticons. Beaten, bleeding out and nearly in statis, Barricade accepts the fact that he might die in a junkyard. Dorothy Haven didn't know if her chief hated her or seemed to think she would want to give up her old police cruiser for a new one. And when said boss gives her a totaled police car as her new vehicle, she really starts having regrets. Luckily for her, Dorothy's new police car was going to be her biggest problem yet.

Especially as they find her to bring her back to the base for safety, it becomes immediately apparent that she is different from humans. And she also poses a danger to the humans they have taken in for safety. However, they learn that she is the way she is because of evil, cruel men who kidnapped her as a toddler and forced her to endure cruel experiments to the point she is no longer considered a human. Especially as she has a side to her that requires her to hunt for a specific food source. And the autobots learn that she has no choice when the beast side of her fails to resist the scent of fresh meat. And unfortunately, it also shows that the girl has zero choice in the matter. Despite that, Jack Darby finds himself in a peculiar position with the girl. Even though he is terrified of her, the girl seems to be intrigued. He does not understand at first, until she eventually explains the possible reason. He finds himself uncertain by the development, but realizes that he might be able to help her. The autobots are now stuck fighting a war with the autobots, and learning of the horror of the girl's past. They search for the people responsible for the illegal experimentation that has caused the girl to lose her identity, and become something people would see as a monster. Worse still, the fate of her own life depends on these people. It becomes obvious when the human part of her slowly begins to disappear, losing control of herself and sense of self, until the autobots figure out how to help her and keeping her away from the monsters who destroyed her. Only not knowing if they could ever fix her without stripping the very human side of her forever.

Bumblebee ordered the portal to be closed, but it was too late: an ominous figure appeared in the purple vortex...
