One of the few humans that was inserted into a cryo pod and went on to wake up on this new, new world. But he and the other humans were tasked to carry the legacy of humanity. He was "fished" out of the water by Capt. Cuttlefish and "Shell". Years later, he grew up to be the co-leader of Squidbeak Splatoon. But then the war came. He became a hero by saving Cuttlefish by being cornered and killed but he sacrificed himself for the win of the 2nd Great Turf War. Not too long after the war, he was dug up by the "CEO" of the F. A. O Agency. And became a valuable asset for them. Along with his new friend "Cross", they moved to the Plaza to live a normal life. But do they? Follow the adventures of Brooks and Cross. As they try their hardest to keep their identity secret. And will Brooks can finally stop reminiscing the past trauma? We won't know until we find out. Shall we start? In order to succeed in protecting Earth from a genocidal traitor, he has to evade capture, make amends with the New Squidbeak Splatoon, and explore a large mechanical metropolis known as Atlantis; All while looking for a way to save Marie, an idol he foolishly handed over to the real enemy, and his friend, Inka, who he unintentionally got captured. And the worst part is he's running out of time to do all of it. If Akikta doesn't find a solution to his unfortunate condition, he'll be dead by tomorrow. But he's never been a quitter, and he isn't gonna start now. With nothing but his wits, his octoling friend, Nakji, and his will to live, Akikta will find a way to save everything... or die trying.

This is a story that follows the main character, a boy named Jared who starts off as a new inkling joining the neighborhood sport in his world known as Splatoon. He just turned 14 recently and is a bit of a newb so he doesn't know at all how to play the game or move really fast but thankfully he meets many new friends and rivals to help guide and motivate him into doing better. Along his battles he discovers inkopolis's enemies, the Octarians and gets involved in saving inkopolis from them. Wether or not he succeeds in defeating them is for you to find out. Its gonna be a crazy ride for this inkling It'd be best if you know/played splatoon before reading this as some things could be confusing. Now then enjoy the story if your interested! :)

He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it.
