As of now it is a short story with a slight cliffhanger. In the near future I might make it a long short story (short few page chapters) and complete it.

When Thomas Thrice gets evicted from his job, he find him self spending his freetime building things in his basement.
When one of the things Thomas builds works out, he enlists his new invention to help him save the world and himself.
Techhero will soon ditch the days of hiding out in the basement, and instead, save the world from his companies rival; Startol Co.
Some inventions are made to save the world, others are made to take it over

[COMPLETED] "Love can be cruel," he mutters. "I thought it would be the reason I would propose, but it's not. Love never wins, does it?" Cruel. Devious. Twisted love. Love can play games, and we just happen to be the pawns. We play our moves strategically like a game of chess, until it comes to this moment. We can let the world separate us, stop us, pull us apart. We can let this old love between us fray at the edges. If love is a game, then Cato and I are destined to lose. "You're right," I whisper. "But love still exists. Even for a moment." His knuckles brush against my waist, before he decides to pull me flush against his chest. We're close, and burning, and his breath feels like electricity on my skin. In his green eyes, I see remnants of the heavens, the northern auroras flashing illuminating inside of them. He holds a new world inside of him, and I long to be the first to discover it. Cato's nose brushes up against mine, the space between our mouths fading like stardust. "Even for a moment," he murmurs my words against me. At once, our tensions release. ─── ·𖥸· ─── One half of her heart belongs to the man from the stars. The other belongs to the man of smoke and ash. Maureen Harradan lives at the bottom tiers of society. Scorned by anyone above her, she finds her fate entwining with Cato Leveque, a wealthy astronaut returning to Earth with new discoveries and secrets. When rumours spread of Cato's uncertain scientific plans, Maureen finds herself working alongside Thomas Smyth, who runs one of the most powerful criminal operations in the city. She must choose which man to believe, and put her entire reputation on the line while running from an unwanted past. Will Maureen's heart choose to follow the man of the stars? They came from the game
Tom lives with his dysfunctional family which is held together by his long-suffering Mother. Emma, his little sister is at war with Gran who has just moved in. Dad is an inventor who works in his laboratory (garden shed); he has invented a machine that can make computer images real. He hopes to use this to conquer world hunger. The children have other ideas. When dad leaves for London intending to generate interest in his machine called a Transmuter, the children enter his laboratory. Because he is bullied at school, Tom links his games console to the machine, the hero from a game he is playing emerges. The hero cannot learn and wreaks havoc all over town. Emma breaks in as well, she takes her battle with Gran to another level. Emma entices her elderly relative into the shed. Emma switches the machine on with Gran in the cabinet linked to the Transmuter. A creature emerges, a blue-rinse T-Rex; half Gran, half T-Rex. When the evil army comes out of the cabinet intent upon world domination, Gran gives battle!Terminé
No Man Left Behind
An intelligent entity by the name of Unilife captures the attention of an ancient alien race, who must decide whether or not to make first contact with the human race in order to stop this fast-learning, genocidal entity . . . And after encountering the entity themselves, Humanity must decide between fighting Unilife to the bitter end, or fleeing the Milky Way Galaxy altogether. This short story is a precursor to other writings to come. Essentially, I'm using my experience from writing this as a springboard for future planned projects. Sidenote: this project was originally drafted in Google Docs. For some reason, when copying over to Wattpad, Wattpad converts all the em dashes to regular hyphens. Be on the lookout for that, as it completely slaughters the meaning of certain sentences and phrases which use em dashes. Through vast consolidation begets a single empire bordering on the mere idea of war with an enemy threatening to destroy its entire existence, starting from the inside. Many call it tyranny, others, vengeful menace, but it's taking them down. One by one. A series of events follow, including a spy, a plan destined to fail and a desperate offer that puts everything on the line. She wasn't what they were hoping for. But they take what they can get. Once rejected by the place they called home, five estranged teens jump at the opportunity for an escape. Thrust into an unknown underwater society at random, it's a gamble for life and death, win or lose. Fast forward to friendship, rivalry, loyalty, borderline sorcery, and a second home that'll change their lives as they know it. But as the days grow by, and the game of cat and mouse breaks its final straw, blending in a world not meant for them is not as easy as it seems. The Woman from Mars: The robotic crew of the Basilisk thought humans were gone, long gone.
