She was a prodigy, a genius. She was acknowledged by everyone. She was not only strong, she was resourceful and independent too. She was also feared. Her strong nature and kindness attracts everyone around her, including him.
He didn't know that the girl that's always sitting in front of him will change his life. He didn't know that the girl who was just across the street will change his point of view. He didn't know that the girl who showed him love will fill his heart that it hurts.
She was just an ambassador from another country, trying to connect her land from theirs. She left her village, her genin team, her family, her brother, for this personal mission assigned to her. She wasn't planning to stay long, to leave as long as possible, but she didn't.
She didn't know that staying there would change her, she didn't know that meeting everyone will fill her longing heart, she didn't know that the boy who sat behind her will enter her life forcefully, she didn't know that the boy across the street will let her change her mind, she didn't know that the boy who save her will help her fight her own darkness.
They were both clueless, but knowing at the same time.

"HAPPY FIFTEENTH BIRTHDAY, SARADA!" Everyone exclaimed. Confetti and balloons were thrown, airhorns were blown, and poppers were popped. The birthday girl smiled and walked down the steps. When she reached the last one, the crowd parted and Boruto walked forward with a cake in his hand. The candles were burning. The lights dimmed, the only faces seen were his and Sarada's. For the first time in months, they made eye contact. Boruto would've dropped the cake in fear if it wasn't for the way she looked at him. Her dark eyes were glowing, with an emotion he couldn't place, in the fire light. Sarada froze when her eyes met Boruto's. Everything came rushing back and it felt like it was only the two of them there. Time was still until Sumire came up behind Boruto and placed her hands on his shoulders. She gave Sarada a smile. "Make a wish, birthday girl." She whispered. Sarada blinked out of her haze and quickly blew out the candles. I don't own Naruto or it's characters. This fanfic will not follow the cannon. At the age 4 Naruto Uzumaki was brutally attacked by mob and left to die. The attack however did not kill him just nearly made him blind. Naruto ends meets up meeting the Kyuubi but instead of the evil monster he expected he meets the one he grows to see like a father. The night of the attack he learns of his heritages and is trained under Kyuubi.
