Meet Ondwella Binanda, an orphaned woman who is desperately trying to be independent without her parents. Ondwella ives with her also orphaned cousin who with her carelessness, happened to burn their home in which it was the only family shelter they were left with. This added pressure on the the poor Ondwella, she had no choice but seek for help.

They then seek for help from their close ones but get none until their newly elected manager decides to intervene and help.

Will Ondwella cope with the cries of her manager's wife at night when he beats her?
