I looked at him in shock, "How do you know that?" "I know a lot of things about you, Ms. Prior, even things you don't know yourself." Excuse me? "From what you can do," he paused giving me a look before directing his gaze back at the field. "To your eye color. Your parents have blue ones, so I don't see how that works." What? He continued without question, "You are still a mystery to us, as you have never showed any signs of power before, so it's sort of confusing." He paused for a few seconds them said, "You're different; you have an ability. You're a Supernatural." "Ok, I really need to go so..." I began walking back, but he stuck out his arm to block me. And that's when it happened. Flames rose on his arms, lighting them on fire. I backed up, feeling the heat radiate off his arms. I was in utter shock, yet he looked relaxed, amused even. "What the hell are you?" I jumped back, and the fire went out, a smirk rising on his face. "I'm just like you." ***** Kayla Prior has always been a popular girl, and everyone looks up to her. She has always had something different from the rest of the crowd, and never knew what it was. There are others like her who support her every step. However, none can help her with what she is about to face. She's the key to defeating evil forces that lie in wait. She's being hunted down, and Kayla gets into a mess that no one can get her out of, except the ones she trusts... But what happens when one day, the person she trusts most almost kills her, and she finds out it was fully intentional? A Freak of Science

12 części Opowieść Zakończona

(FIRST DRAFT, INCOMPLETE BUT FINISHED) She used to be normal-until now. Accepting to be a subject for a 'minor science experiment' for a large amount of money is a grave mistake for the Durand family. Now Cecil Durand is coping with unnatural abilities and the burden of trying to hide the fact that she's a complete freak of science in the town of Grimsby. But without the hindrance of money problems, the Durands move to big city Toronto in hopes of a better life-and the lesser chance of someone finding out Cecil's supernatural callings. They never expected things to get worse as Cecil is targeted by a villainous character and his organization for her unnatural skills. They never guessed that she would become the apple's eye of said villain that would do anything to have her-even destroy the one boy she cares about who doesn't think she's a freak with her supernatural abilities. Along with that, Cecil isn't the only science subject and not all have been lucky to escape with their lives or their sanity... *THIS STORY IS UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION BEFORE A NEW PART IS POSTED. THE CHANGES ARE NOT MAJOR, BUT YOU SHOULD CONSIDER READING THIS STORY AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN MADE.* ------------------ A Freak of Science Copyright © Celia Summers / Celine Chau
