A school shooting in 2016 leaves Daniel Girch in a coma. As he's hovering between life and death, he inexplicably wakes up in his own bedroom...but instead of an iPhone plugged in next to his bed, there's a radio. On the dresser is a stack of cassette tapes. On the wall is a poster of a young Christie Brinkley. And in the closet are parachute pants and polo shirts. Downstairs, Daniel's dead grandmother is making pancakes, and his mom is suddenly an annoying eleven-year-old who plays with Barbies. It's 1986.
With the help of his new best friend, Daniel assimilates to life as a teenager in the 1980s. He learns how to dress the part, to like the music, and to live without the conveniences of the modern world...and he also falls in love with a girl more interesting than any he's ever known.
As Daniel fights for his life in 2016, he's awake in 1986 and struggling to save his uncle from the untimely death that changed the course of his whole family's lives. What will happen after he wakes up? And how will the things Daniel does in the past affect the future?

Before the fall of Earth humanity built a great colony ship, ten thousand of the colonist left Earth for a hundred year journey to Gillespie. They came from all over the Earth leaving a planet knowing they would never see another in their lifetime. The Ark is a rotating cylinder the size of a large island with its own train system. It's divided into three main sections, the city, the framlands, and the Lowers. The people are divided into three groups as well, Uppers, Middles and Lowers. Uppers are made of elite scientist, Astro-crops, bureaucrats they made up about 3% of the population. The Middles are are the farmers, the guard, teachers, doctors, the food processors, clothes makers and of course the mechanical maintenance workers. They make-up the 97% of the 10,000 counted citizens. The lowers are criminals and children born to un-paired parents. They live separated from the middles and Upper. In lowers you work in water reclamation or in one of the fish farms that supply protein to the ship. In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever. Falling in love is hard enough falling in love in space that the story.Concluida

As they mature into future freshman's (and who should've been a sophomore), Marceline, Jeffery, and Isaac are all having a nostalgic summer, as well as creating new memories. Isaac had his first actual crush in years, Marceline had branched out and created friends from theater and literature class, and Jeff had a good friend that had left too soon. But as their summer comes to an end in September, they all decide to go to a local 7/11 to grab some Cokes, but a kid from their school robs the place and blames it on each of them. The kid won the jury trial, and the three teenagers are shipped to a juvenile camp all the way out in Cornwall, Britain. But as they escape with one of their roommates, they come across a teenager their age who'd been missing for eleven years, they decide that there are people like them stuck in messes like this. 100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages.
