This is another story I worked on in highschool, it is also very edgy. Its my favorite of the bunch, I had it planned out, and I really liked the idea that was a revamp of another story idea I had as a preteen of a girl loosing a friend but later in life finding them again only now as the aprentice of the grimm reaper. Kinda cheesy but I turned the girl into a guy and made it so much more edgy and melodramatic. Its weird to look back at this and go ew because at one point in my life I would of considered this my magnum opus. However I only got 8 1/3 pages in.

The claws had emerged before I'd even realised, gently tearing their way through my skin, running their way through my arms and changing my body into the one thing I thought I'd hated, but I'd begun to love more than anything: a monster. ---------------------- High school. A place where children go to grow their minds and adapt to adulthood. Where nothing but popularity and grades matter. I was a weird kid. I still am, but that's besides the point. One day, I walked into the wrong class, and something went wrong. Turns out, Things got weirder and weirder. Suddenly, popularity and grades don't really matter anymore. She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend.
