Beast helps Joker to conquer a minor panic attack after he wakes up wounded in a strange place that isn't his bed.

A drabble from my Book Of Circus AU where Doll, Joker, and Beast survive the aftermath of the events at the end of the series. (Because that anime broke my heart into a million pieces and this is my attempt to glue them back together.)

Canon Divergence note for this AU:
After mortally wounding Joker and setting the mansion ablaze, Sebastian returns to the estate to see that all of the circus folk have perished. He finds Beast, very much still alive, hiding in the woods near Phantomhive Manor. Being the devilish creature he is, he decides to offer her mercy and allow her to escape, if only to see how long is takes his young master to realize that his butler failed in his mission to destroy his targets.

This allows Beast to catch up to Doll, and stop her from being killed as well. After they find Father's mansion in cinders, Beast digs through the wreckage until she finds Joker, badly wounded, but alive. This oneshot occurs sometime after they've gone into hiding, around a week after the final events of Book Of Circus.
