Like thousands of others around the world, Athena MacArthur struggles to find a new sense of purpose in her life after a cataclysmic event that the last remaining people on Earth call: 'The Blip'. Unbeknownst to her, her life takes an unexpected turn when she's suddenly saddled with an immense burden of guilt after a tragic event occurs that was out of her control. Now under the care and safety of the Avengers, Athena develops strong, and intimate relationships with the small group of heroes she now considers her family. As the battle for Earth and the entire universe draws closer, she is forced to question her very reason of existence, and navigate through a world that's vastly different from the life she left behind.
