This is a story about a girl. A girl who has experienced pain, hope, and betrayal. A girl who has stayed strong and remembered one thing. As long as there is hope, there is a way out.

Raylene is an ordinary teenage girl. Well, she used to think she was. What happened to her, it wasn't a mistake. If she could go back in time, she would do it all again. Most of it anyways. There are fears she has overcome, betrayal she has fought through, and hope that she wishes to pass on to others who need to be inspired. Life is too short to waste.

One day, just one is all it took to change her life forever. Everything went downhill from there. Seeming like forever, Raylene struggles to free herself, save the ones she loves, and return home to live the rest of her life in peace. Simple, right? Not so much. Not when you know what she has to escape from.

The King's Assassin

17 parts Complete

** Complete - EDITING** In a kingdom where magic is forbidden, Selene serves as the King's Assassin, bound to his every command. Though, she has no memory of who she truly is -- only the name the King has told her. In the crowded, suffocating city, she struggles to think clearly, to remember something. But remembering is dangerous; it could make the King angry. And angering the King something she dares not risk. Yet, when Selene begins dreaming of a mysterious man with amber eyes, fragments of her memories begin to return. As her past slowly pieces itself together, she faces the question -- will learning the truth of who she is give her the strength to claim her freedom, or will it spell doom for herself and the kingdom she has come to call home?
