Mickila gets thrown into the protection of Sam and Dean Winchester freshly after the boys reunite. Castiel wants her safe for more reasons than he's going to tell but maybe there is something deeper than he's able to comprehend.
This human emotions, fighting a war; he has no chance for such a human thing... but maybe? And while Castiel is fighting a war on his own 'his' humans are fighting their own. While Dean struggles to control his emotions and keep Micki alive, she is struggling to find herself.

Golden sunlight filtered through the towering corn in the field. She was holding out her hand for me and stumbled forward with the black scarf around her eyes, a smile on her soft golden face of hers. The sun catching the light of her dusty brown hair flecked with a golden flame of red. An angel in human form, lost and forgotten from those in haven. She laughed and reached out to touch my hand.
