Lien Siena Marino, an aspiring pro hero, has fought tooth and nail to get into the renound U.A. High. She believes that she deserves to be there and is driven to accomplish her goal, to prove to herself and others she's not just another charity case. Not some other poor kid with a sappy back story for others to pity. U.A. is a place to improve and sharpen one's skills and knowledge, the perfect place for a driven youngster to better themselves. To distract from a past better left to the sands of time. Well, that is until she meets her classmates of 1-A. They give her the family she's always dreamt of, the friends she's always needed, and a boy who's eyes share her story.
