Becca Rhines and five of her friends spent a week camping deep in the middle of Yellowstone National Park. When they stop in Cody, Wyoming to stock up for the long drive back to Minneapolis, Minnesota they realize that something disastrous has happened. An outbreak at a scientific medical research facility has occurred, sweeping the nation with horror. Determined to make it home and find their families, the six friends set out on a dangerous journey. Will they survive the 900 mile journey? Will their families still be alive? And if they do make it all the way there, what then? Is there any safe place to go or has the sickness destroyed everything?  

**This is my first attempt at writing a full length book. It is a work in progress, so please be patient. I will be adding to it frequently though. I hope you like what I have so far and I welcome any comments and/or advice you might have!

Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.
