Becca Rhines and five of her friends spent a week camping deep in the middle of Yellowstone National Park. When they stop in Cody, Wyoming to stock up for the long drive back to Minneapolis, Minnesota they realize that something disastrous has happened. An outbreak at a scientific medical research facility has occurred, sweeping the nation with horror. Determined to make it home and find their families, the six friends set out on a dangerous journey. Will they survive the 900 mile journey? Will their families still be alive? And if they do make it all the way there, what then? Is there any safe place to go or has the sickness destroyed everything?
**This is my first attempt at writing a full length book. It is a work in progress, so please be patient. I will be adding to it frequently though. I hope you like what I have so far and I welcome any comments and/or advice you might have!

Eventually, unable to stay away from each other any longer, they start a whirlwind romance. With him Koda feels more alive than she had in years. This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3.
