Luke is a normal guy. He's had numerous girlfriends and his last one turned out to be gay. After a wild night, drinking off the surprise of his girlfriends coming out of the closet, he gets his keys taken away and calls a cab. The cab driver, Drake, believes his job in the world is to rid America of public nuisances such as drunks calling for cabs. After his wild night Luke will never drink again, Drake kidnaps Luke and locks him in his soundproof attic. Hannah is a party girl. After her fathers death she drinks away her problems at night dancing at bars and clubs with her friends. That is until she got her keys taken away and had to call a cab. Once again Drake manages to "rid the world" of a drunken nuisance. He locks Hannah in a parallel room in his attic. Although they cannot see each other Hannah and Luke have a romance brewing through the walls off their kidnappers attic. They're one wish? To get out and see each other in person. He gives it away in a few chapters of his own in part one of the book. Well Rose survives the plane crash. And it broken from it, one day a year later Nathan find Rose.
