Marissa Paine is the middle child of one of the strongest alphas in the country, though she never knew anything about werewolves. Her father mated a human woman, giving him 3 hybrids, and none seemed to have the wolf gene. What happens when everyone finds out that not only is she a wolf, but an alphas mate?

Louise Mae Byrne is the daughter of vampire Broodmaster Niall Byrne and werewolf Beta-mate Marissa Perry. This makes her a hybrid of the two species. She's stronger, faster, tougher. She also has all their weaknesses, though not at lethal levels. She's the coolest thing out there. She's also unable to join a pack or a brood. Her mind's ability to join a pack or brood is... broken. So what happens when a nearby alpha claims her for his mate? What happens when she feels no draw to him at all? --- "Get. Out!" A frown took over his expression as he stood up. He must have been six-seven, with the typical lycan musculature that made humans drool over them. "Now look here," he started. "No. You busted down my bedroom door. You've made a mess of the pack. You've trashed my closet. So right now, you're not welcome. After you replace my door and put my clothes back, we can discuss why I shouldn't rip your heart out of your chest and eat it. Capiche?" "I'm your mate!" he roared. She took a deep breath and smelled, werewolf. She stalked over to him, grabbed him by the throat, and threw him out the window. A few seconds later, she heard the sound of him landing four stories below her. Leaning out, she shouted down, "You owe me a window, too. Don't come back without one."
