The Art of Moving On | ✔
Calvin Sumner is just trying to find a job, pass his classes, get into college, and maybe kiss a few boys if he can manage it. He never thought he'd find himself working in a cupcake cafe, or falling in love with his brooding, ex-military boss who has more tattoos than he has words to give. But Cas isn't going to complain. Not when he's finally making some money, doing well in his courses, has a pretty good sports scholarship in his future, and gets to kiss Dresden Gibson as much as he wants (and he wants to, a lot). Eli didn't think much about the city's newest so-called hero, but he supposed Vigilante wasn't all that bad. It's Always Been You
*revised and edited* His shocking blue eyes locked on mine, his breath warm against my ear as he whispered, "Kiss me." I froze. Five minutes ago he'd slammed my books to the floor like I didn't matter, and now he stood close enough for my heartbeat to betray me. I couldn't tell if he wanted me to love him or hate him-or both. But wanting him was the problem. Because somewhere between the confusion and the chaos, I'd fallen for Ethan Walker. And the moment he stepped into my life, everything I thought I knew-about myself, about loneliness, about safety-shifted beneath my feet. Nothing was simple anymore. Not with him this close.Complete![Enamour [boyxboy]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/59934905-256-k104040.jpg)

The Main Character's Best Friend
❝"𝙄 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚... 𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙮." "𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙?" "𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮. 𝙒𝘼𝙄𝙏 𝘿𝙊𝙉'𝙏 𝙎𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙏 𝙈𝙀-"❜❜ ~★~ Look, I know how this sounds, but I'm not the main character in this story. I'm not the one who saves the world. I'm not the one who gets the guy. I'm not the "Chosen One" or whatever. That's all Cynthia, my best friend. One day she just sort of spawned powers and now she's always disappearing to do something heroic or whatever and is constantly caught up in some sort of drama. So, yeah, if you want to read something interesting or exciting, you should probably read a book where the main character is... well, the main character. But if a story with not much of a plot, no fourth wall and trashy humor sounds like your thing, then buckle up, motherhuggers, cuz this book sounds like it was written by someone on crack :'D ~•~🦸~•~ ★𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒐𝒓★ 𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏★ 𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆★ ~•~🦹~•~ »nothing spicy obv🌶️ »no cussing🤬 »bad jokes🥲 »ur mom👁️👄👁️ »dedicated to Ryan Reynolds👑 ~•~★~•~ Thanks for reading! ┌(・。・)┘♪Complete
Safe Haven
Matilda Brown has never seen the world outside of the walls. Her community is relatively small, at least compared to the outside world, and yet she's still somehow an outcast. Everyone else around her has powers - ones with fire or speed or the ability to speak every language known to man - and her mother even had two! However, she's stuck with none. Will she ever get her power? Will she ever recognize the abuse from her captor Mr. Osmond and escape him? Benjamin Langley is a university student navigating the loss of his best friend, when he discovers his ability to see the future. Soon after, he's taken by force to the community, and comes to see and entire world he had no knowledge of. Meeting Matilda forces him to consider the fact that escaping quietly might not work out. Cameron Thomas doesn't remember a time when he wasn't in the community, but he's starting to. Or, at least he thinks he is? Like Matilda, he too struggles with his power, not in finding it, but rather in controlling it. Will he get it right when it matters? Oliver Hart is a charismatic veterinarian who discovers he can suddenly hear the animals thoughts. It would've been a powerful career booster if he hadn't been kidnapped and taken to the community. There, he uses his charisma to make a group of friends he'll never forget. The four must fight tooth and nail to make it out of dangerous situations and discover their own feelings along the way.Complete
